Description

Frank J. O’Connell is the original millennial, and in his book Jump First, Think Fast he shares how he blazed a trail of innovation for some of the biggest brands in American business.

Jump First, Thing Fast is the perfect guide for anyone starting in business or leadership who wants to learn how to dive in head first, think on their feet, and gain a competitive edge. Frank O’Connell explores success as a process of risk-taking and chasing the unknown, accepting failure, and knowing yourself inside and out.

The father of innovation, O’Connell has transformed some of the biggest brands in the world—including leading product revolutions for Reebok, HBO Video, SkyBox, Gibson Greetings, and India Motorcycles. Today Frank consults as an investor and board overseer for toy brand Schylling, which recently developed the cult product NeeDoh, and the reinvention of the classic Lava Lamp and iconic Big Wheel brands.

Sharing his wisdom, stories, passion and proven methods for management in his latest book Jump First, Think Fast O’Connell brings his unconventional approach to business and innovation, encouraging entrepreneurs to take risks and voice the crazy ideas that will jump-start their careers. This book is a unique blend of personal stories, business strategies and mentoring from his phenomenal success and 50+ years on the front line of sales and marketing.

Far from yet another self-help book for business, Jump First, Thing Fast instead throws light on O’Connell’s proven methods for management in an honest and forthright way that will have readers thinking entirely differently about business and how to find their place, trust their instincts, and enjoy the ride.
