“As an owner of a houseplant boutique, we get lots of requests for certain plants – low-light plants, beginner-friendly plants, and lately an influx of plants that can be kept indoors that flower. Lisa's book covers everything anything anyone needs to know about flowering houseplants and is a quintessential guide to anyone looking to add color and perpetual summer to their home.”Johanna C. Dominguez, owner of Put a Plant on It houseplant boutique in Buffalo, NY.

I have always been a fan of Lisa because she explains what to do in an easy-to-understand style. In this book, she also explains why I should be doing it. "As a pet owner, I also love that the author doesn’t just go into care and prorogation to keep the plant healthy, but toxicity. Many pet parents have good intentions with houseplants but don’t realize that some are poisonous to cats and/or dogs. Pet parents can make informed decisions perfect for their household with great information."—Budget Earth

"Suitable for experienced or new houseplant owners, the book covers basics such as soil health, light and water needs, pot shapes, pruning, environmental conditions and how to solve problems that may arise."—California Bountiful Magazine
